Jon Vegosen to "Ring the Bell"

ADVISORY, Aug 25, 2011 (GlobeNewswire via COMTEX) --

The United States Tennis Association will visit the NASDAQ MarketSite in New York City's Times Square to celebrate the 2011 US Open, where the main draw will begin Monday, August 29 in Flushing, New York. In addition, the USTA will set up a 10 and Under Tennis demonstration with kids playing right in the NASDAQ MarketSite broadcast studio. 10 and Under Tennis -- a major U.S. initiative to help get more kids playing the game -- utilizes smaller courts and modified equipment, and will be featured prominently at the 2011 US Open.

In honor of the occasion, USTA Chairman of the Board and President Jon Vegosen; world No. 6 and two-time French Open singles finalist Robin Soderling; world No. 3 doubles player and winner of three US Open doubles titles Liezel Huber; and reigning US Open wheelchair quad singles and doubles champion David Wagner, will ring the Opening Bell.
